Klaroline Appreciation Week
Day Three Favorite Klaroline Quote —->
"Thank you."
Two small words. A huge impact. Heavy meaning.
My favorite quote comes from my favorite Klaroline scene, respectively. The raw sincerity in Caroline’s voice was so touching. Both to the viewers and Klaus. He hadn’t technically saved her, but he was there to comfort her in his arms and calm her down. Caroline didn’t flinch or get disgusted or scared upon knowing Klaus was there, soothing her. She relaxed instantly. After spinning her around to make sure she understands his concern for her, she made firm eye contact and uttered out a ‘thank you’ in a vulnerable, sincere voice. That ‘thank you’ meant she was grateful he was there. It meant she heard his unspoken promise of never hurting her. It meant she saw the real, human side to him. It was just them two in that moment. She opened up and that moment couldn’t have made a bigger impact.
Until now, she stands to be the only one who has thanked Klaus so far.
